Topi Leads the Pack and Preps for Fifth Consecutive Win

This week, Bluebeam® Rallycross driver and Global Rallycross (GRC) points leaderToomas “Topi” Heikkinen is heading full throttle into the Atlanta Motor Speedway to try to win his fifth consecutive GRC event. Last Sunday at X Games Los Angeles, Topi returned to the scene of his serious crash one year ago and became the only two-time gold medal winner in X Games Rallycross history. Considered by ESPN to be “the hottest driver in the sport” today, Topi also holds GRC records for consecutive podium finishes (six) and points through the first six races (117). This Saturday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Heikkinen will attempt to pilot his Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta ST to yet another victory. With a strong finish, Topi can also secure the SYLVANIA SilverStar® zXe Cup and the $20,000 bounty that accompanies the trophy.

“It’s cool to have a lot of points,” said Heikkinen after winning gold in Los Angeles. “Still we’re leading, and now we have a little bit less pressure, but the next race is in a few days, and we have work to do.”

“Topi exemplifies the no-limits attitude that is key to consistent success,” remarked Richard Lee, Bluebeam Software President and CEO. “Five wins in a row would not surprise us at all; anything is possible with the way Topi competes.”

GRC Round 7: Atlanta Motor Speedway will be held on August 10th at 6:30 PM EDT and broadcast on ESPN2. For more information about Topi’s performance and for continued updates on the 2013 GRC season, go to or follow Topi on Facebook or Twitter.
