Last Thursday in Norrkoping, Sweden, the Bluebeam Swedish Rally Team hit high speeds at the Himmelstalunds Sprinten, one of the country’s most well-known rally sprints. The team had not planned on participating in the race, but driver Kenneth Lodeklint was spurred on by memories of extreme speed at Rally Gotland, and decided that there was no better way to celebrate his birthday than a little rally racing.
Kenneth and co-driver Gunnar Envang put up a great fight, and they were one of four cars within 0.6 seconds of each other in the final round. Time wasn’t on their side, though, as they missed the podium by a mere five hundredths of a second. All in all, it was a great day of rallying and the team is looking forward to their next race on May 25th for a shot at the KMK Trophy!
